It has been a busy few weeks here at UKCS towers. Normally the ‘working week’ drags, but with fun events each weekend (and the odd mid week one too) the days are just flying.
Last weekend we were enjoying ourselves at Beamish Hall Christmas Fayre, which includes a lovely treat of overnight stays and no cooking meals! It was another well attended event with lots of new customers and no freezing conditions this year, which is always a bonus when we have such a big journey. Will definitely be travelling up on Friday evening again next year.
Big sellers so far have been different at each event, which is unusual. We are down to our last few of the wooden light up scenes and all the light up stars have sold. Natural materials seem to be the most popular again which is lovely as that is what I am drawn to when I order.
At some events however we have sold lots of one product, and then at the next not sold any. You are a curious lot! (nice to be unpredictable though!)
This week we have had some smaller events, with a ladies shopping night, our local primary Christmas fair and a village Christmas fair. I have barely had time to sit down, so the chill out time I am enjoying now is perfect for catching up (even if the kids are trying to spoil it by squabbling over everything).
If you are wanting to visit us before Christmas you can find us at Preston Park Museum next weekend. We are expecting a busy time so if there is something you particularly want please order through our website and get in touch if you would like to collect at the event rather than wait for the post.
